WHEAT RIDGE–As reported last week by Complete Colorado, an unidentified man recently attacked several volunteers at a Recall Jared Polis petition signing event, verbally assaulting two women, kicking over tables and chairs and attempting to steal petitions. This happened July 31 in the parking lot of the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center near 40th Avenue and Kipling Street. While not part of the attack, there were several other people there attempting to disrupt signature gathering efforts, according to volunteers. Complete Colorado has obtained video footage of one of the unidentified disruptors from that evening, who can be seen and heard pointing out, among other things, how many signatures were being missed due to her efforts.
