Complete Colorado’s roundup of 2024 election ballot guides

Don’t be surprised when you open your Colorado general election ballot to find fourteen statewide measures, both constitutional and statutory changes.  Add in as many as a dozen local measures (as is the case with the Denver ballot) and it may feel like you sat down to start a novel.

Complete Colorado has compiled a list of ballot guides from a variety of libertarian and right-of-center sources, as well as Colorado Governor Jared Polis, to help you sort through it all.

Here are the guides:

The Independence Institute:  Colorado’s free market think tank (also the publisher of Complete Coloradooffers a guide to the statewide ballot measures, as well as select local measures lifting revenue limits under the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights (TABOR).  They also weigh in on the nine citywide questions on the Denver ballot (spoiler alert: they’re a “No” on all of them).

The Centennial Institute: Part of Colorado Christian University, Centennial Institute offers their Christian conservative take on the statewide ballot measures.

Mandy Connell:  The 850 KOA radio host gives recommendations for the statewide ballot measures and judicial retention, as well as select local measures.

Mark Hillman: The former Colorado State Treasurer and Senate Majority Leader weighs in on the statewide ballot measures at his website.

Kim Monson: The 560 KLZ radio host and former Lone Tree City Councilwoman gives her take on the election here.

Ross Kaminsky: The 850 KOA radio host gives his picks for the statewide ballot measures, Denver ballot measures, as well as some federal and state-level candidate races.

The libertarian take:  At the Free State Colorado website, Brandon Wark offers a libertarian’s view of the statewide ballot measures.

Mike Rosen: The former talk radio host and both Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News columnist offers his ballot picks in Complete Colorado.

Jared Polis:  Colorado’s Democrat governor gives his stance on the statewide questions here.

Colorado Chamber of Commerce: The Chamber’s endorsements for state legislative candidates is here.
