Meet your Obamacare health exchange flowchart

Did you think that applying for private health insurance was a pain?

Below is a flow chart showing the details of how you will apply for ObamaCare health insurance, as things stand now. Making it operational requires data, a lot of data, and its all about you.

The proposed 21 page application for health insurance makes the flow chart operational. Everyone who goes through the health benefits exchange will fill one out.  It’s longer and more complex than most people’s tax forms. It requires detailed income information, information about your family structure, your living arrangements, and your (optional) racial origins. The government doesn’t have this information at present. If it did, it wouldn’t be asking for it and squirreling it away. In signing, you attest that the information provided is correct and that if it isn’t you are subject to an unstated penalty.

SUPPORT COMPLETE

Our unofficial motto at Complete Colorado is “Always free, never fake, ” but annoyingly enough, our reporters, columnists and staff all want to be paid in actual US dollars rather than our preferred currency of pats on the back and a muttered kind word. Fact is that there’s an entire staff working every day to bring you the most timely and relevant political news (updated twice daily) from around the state on Complete’s main page aggregator, as well as top-notch original reporting and commentary on Page Two.
