Boulder— Jon Caldara, president of the free market think tank Independence Institute*, and a Boulder, Colorado resident, explains in a new video (see below) why he will not comply with an ordinance passed by the Boulder City Council in 2018 that, among other things, bans many commonly owned semi-automatic rifles, which the city loosely define as “assault weapons.” The law went in to effect on January 1.
